Manufacturers face a barrage of cyber security threats today, and half of companies have fallen victim to at least one data breach during the past 12 months, according to the 2019 Manufacturing and Distribution Report.
Experts from Intrust IT will offer advice to business owners, C-suite professionals and IT professionals on avoiding cyber attacks.
The event, sponsored by VonLehman CPA & Advisory Firm, will be held on November 14th from 3 to 6 p.m. at 810 Wright's Summit Parkway, Suite 300, Ft. Wright, Kentucky.
What's at Stake?
Until an attack takes place, most organizations feel they have done everything they need to do. Unfortunately, they later realize they are still at risk. Cyber criminals work diligently to get to the lifeblood of businesses, so businesses need to work just as vigorously to protect themselves.
At the event, attendees will hear about how to prepare for attacks. Tim Rettig and Dave Hatter of Intrust IT will review mitigation and ways to protect businesses from cyber criminals. A representative from the FBI will discuss how the agency addresses threats and will explain best practices.
Finally, a panel of experts will take questions and give real life examples of the importance of cyber protection.
